This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?
I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.
A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Good looking Tele Robby. Looks like it can get the job done and you should do a build thread on it.
Your cat doesn't look amused. Your writing is fine.
That looks good Ill Green. Tattoo ink and paint? Wouldn't have thought of that.
Putting P90 pickups in it?
Good job. I got a good Humidor box from a Salvation Army store and the Silverware box for my BO Diddly guitar from a Goodwill store for 50 cents because they didn't know what it was. ;)
Merry Christmas everybody and a Happy New Year.
Hi, back at ya.

My DAW! I've recently learned how to add VST plugins. Logic Pro X comes with it's own signal processing. But most of of them are not worth using. So I've downloaded lots of new plugins. Signal processors like compressors and EQ to reverb and ambients. So far I've downloaded over 20. Going to remix a few songs with the new ones. Then do an A,B comparison with songs using just the native Logic VSTs.
No more metallic sounding reverb. No more breathing compressors. No more sound crashing de essers. And best of all total control of the EQ.
A side note. I downloaded three free VSTs from a company called Voxengo. Only to find out after installing them they have been altered by the company to automatically turn themselves on and off. Making them completely unreliable for real work.
A friend of mine got a Line 6 POD back in the late 90's when they first came out and he was in love with it. I didn't like most of the effects on it, the early digital stuff just didn't sound right to me. Now they have improved a lot of the digital effects to the point that you can't tell the difference except for the lack of the analog noise in the background. All thanks to George Lucas for the digital audio that we all can enjoy now.
Stewmac.com has started selling guitar kits. They are around $200 to $300 dollars, but the quality of the kits are good from what I'm hearing. These are 6 string Fender and Gibson type guitars in semi-hollow and solid body kit guitars with quality Maple and Mahogany wood.
They have also started selling speakers for amps. The ones to look for are the WGS, Eminence and Jensen MOD speakers in 8" - 10" - 12" sizes for under $70 dollars I'm talking about 4 to 8 ohm 20watt to 50watt speakers and these are just as good as Weber or Celestion. They also carry those 2 brands too and some are low priced as well.
I can vouch for the WGS brand speakers as being very good bang for the buck speakers.
I have been building stewmac kits for more than 20 years & they have always been great quality? Their kits are actually made by skilled luthiers? Some of their best kits are resos & dreadnoughts, though the resos aren’t always available. Their wood quality & neck joinery on the electric kits are better than most kit maker companies & there’s great videos pertaining to building their kits if you’re in need of such? A great luthier run company!
Their prices have always been a bit high, but they are starting to come down some. I heard that a new maker was making the kits now and a new supplier for the bodies and blanks.
