I was just checking out your pictures. You got some really nice looking instruments.
If you accept my friend request, I can send you some separate info on chugger tunings, strings, scale lengths, and playing them.
Shame you put your git on the fire, I think one of the great things about these guitars is that whatever mistakes you make they can always be modified to make them work
The copper top is about 0.6mm thick with two struts applied to the back.The struts are pine 6x20 running either side of the through neck.
It sounds better than a license plate guitar unplugged
