Every year my Mother in Law sells crafts at a street festival in her town this year my wife and I were planning on hanging in her booth with her so I brought about 6 of my guitars and a small amp with me.

I was sort of hoping to sell some but really wasn't expecting too. I was more of the mind set that I would be able to show off a little and get some atta boys about how clever and creative my guitars are. Who doesn't like that.

Well I ended up selling 4 of the 6 that I brought with me. It was such a rush to see people really excited about buying something I made.  My wife said she was a little sad to see some of them go and was suprised  that I could part with them but the joy of having a customer say "I need this, I have to have this" was worth way more then the money I got for the guitars.

Yes, now I feel a little bit of sellers remorse but I have no regrets, because everyone who bought a guitar was a musician and were thrilled to find something unique at a craft fair that they had never seen before.

Sweet!!! Nothing better than having one of your creations fall into the hands of someone who wants it and appreciates it.

No remorse...build more and better ones...rinse, repeat!

Thats great news, your helping keep the Blues and this tradition alive!

Parting with em doesn't get any easier either. Great stuff
A year or two from now you'll prolly have forty or fifty at home and the missus would be real happy to see them thinned out

That's a good feeling. The way I look at it even if you sell some you really like that's funds that can help finance material for some more that you may like even better. And the positive feedback is always better than money!
