New developments in cigar box guitar fretboards
Cigar Box Nation sponsor, C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply has just launched two innovative cigar box guitar fretboards last week: The Acrylic Fretboard and Peel & Stick Fret Markers.

The Clear Acrylic cigar box guitar fretboard ($7.99 each) features laser etched fret lines and screw holes that double as fret dot markers. What makes these slide-only fretboards so innovative is their ability to double as "art frames," enabling builders to put photos, painted scenes and other artwork underneath.

The fretboard pictured above features reprints of Blind Lemon Jefferson newspaper ads embedded under the acrylic.

The Peel-and-Stick Clear Fretboard Decals (5 pack for $4.99) give builders an affordable and quick way to add 25" scale lines and dots to fretless cigar box guitar necks.
These sticker frets are especially helpful for educators who are teaching cigar box guitar building classes and need a way to speed up the process.
