Here’s the latest guitar build I just finished. Basic stick in a box but sounds like a monster I think. What do you think?

Thanks for the birthday greetings, Richard. Definitely a better present than the usual socks and aftershave haha. Very fortunate indeed. Glad you like the guitar too. Much appreciated :o)
The Cube a nice score for your birthday, happy belated by the way. Agreed, monster sound! Lots of endless options with two pickups. Awesome Bear!
Thanks Dave. I absolutely love these P90 dog ears too. Glad you like it and thanks again my friend. :o)
Nice to see and hear Bear. I like those pups!
Thanks Jim. Glad you like it. Fantastic is a strong word and a huge compliment so I’m definitely glad over that. Thanks again :o)
Thanks David. Glad you like it too. This one is all clean and pretty. Next one? Dirty, tatty and confusticating! All shall be revealed soon. Got quite a bit done late last night so getting close to the finish line now.
Thanks Paul for the info. I’ve never used DADGAD but use DADF#AD often. I always read that DADGAD was more of a folk music tuning if I remember rightly. What I love about DADF#AD is the DF#AD is spatially the same as my new favourite 4 string tuning AC#EA with the 1 on the top and the bottom.
I’ll definitely bear in mind playing it as two sets of three on one neck though. I think approaching it with that mind set will help hugely. Thanks again. I really appreciate it :o)
Thanks Dennis. Glad that you like it. I’ve never owned an Epiphone Casino (not guilty of the murder of one haha) but I reckon this could give an Epiphone Casino a proper run for its money! Over the moon with it.
I have fat fingers too and struggle with a lot of necks but I’m finding the more I play a skinny (43mm nut) neck the easier I’m finding it. I still get my fingers in a twist though. Thanks again for your kind words. I really appreciate it. :o)
When I used slide on my 6 string back in the day, I always tuned it D A D G A D for that dirty blues tone. Changing the G to F# can have a different spin on it.
If the 6 strings are too much, you can play the low 3 or the high 4 for a lighter tone. Many ways to use it.
Sounding great Bear :0)
If that is the "side build" I am looking forward to the revealing of your main build.
Sounds fantastic!
Thanks Uncle John. Glad that you like it and think I’m getting “smoother”. I felt like I made so many mistakes in the video. Glad they went largely unnoticed haha. Clarky’s kilt? I must still be moonlighting as a cat burglar in my sleep. I thought it was a piece of old cloth out of Dani’s stash haha.
Thanks again Uncle John :o)
Looks good and SO-fisticated. Nice job. Sounding good and once again you keep getting smoother. But what are you doing with Clarky's kilt under your amp?
