This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?
I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.
A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Great work Taff (as always). Looks like you reworked the finish to get away from the sunburst, or was that just the lighting in the picture faking me out? Curious how you went about that.
Nice, I was wondering when someone would get around to making one of these.
I did get a Jr style wrap around bridge for 4 string gits from MGB.
I saw that tremolo at MGB. They also have a 3 string version. $27.00 USD for the 3 string and $29.00 for the 4 string. Already ordered one, will report back.
$27 seems like a great price. Currently in the process of installing a 4 string hardtail I got from Gitty awhile back. Hope to have pictures soon.
Yea, I thought that was interesting too. I also ordered one for a 3 stringer, hopefully I’ll get to it before summer? https://mgbguitars.com/collections/bridges/products/mgb-pitch-bende...
finishing up my solar generator. 600 watt panel array, 24 V 100AH battery, 2500 watt inverter. I am at the stage where I realize I need to add just one more feature - keeping the post office busy. operational by memorial day.
just made a major breakthrough on a stalled project: building an alarm to let me know when someone starts driving down the 400 foot driveway. I finally got the ESP32 to take a program.
rebuilding the brakes on the baja bug. then I install the 2165 ( 94 X 78 ) engine.
two CGBs in the acquiring parts stage: Two Padron 5000 boxes, one neck kit, one each humbucker, single coil and piezo pickup, so far.
reviving a Hilgen Basso Profundo 2502. replace the two conductor AC cord with a grounded plug, ditch the death cap, replace the power caps and install an Eminence Legend 15" 8 ohm.
the trick to being retired: have half a dozen projects going. always have parts for all of them in the mail. always have parts waiting to be installed for both indoor and outdoor projects.if you have projects that are nearing completion, have another in the acquiring parts stage and another in the just learning about it stage. always have something to do, and an excuse for not being done.
Hi Madgommer, the finish on the PRS is stock, it must be the light playing tricks.
Taff
My post yesterday got lost in the ozone because I forgot to hit the darn HTML Editor tab.
Great job rescuing that guitar, Taff! That was added because the 22 fret SE Custom was not offered with a Floyd Rose. PRS did do a Floyd Rose model on the SE Custom 24.
The SE came about many years ago as a request from Carlos Santana to his friend Paul Reed Smith to develop an affordable Student Edition PRS. They are made overseas. I used to have a SE Singlecut (pre-lawsuit). It was a good guitar. Of course, it didn't hold a candle to my any of my USA PRSi.
Glad to see that one get a new lease on life!
Hi carl, thanks for that, I did not know all that info. Yes, it looked so clean it was a shame to let it sit there with the other guitars when someone can use it. But it took a lot of work over three days, but the look on the young lady's face made it all worthwhile.
Cheers Taff
