I went to a cigar store and bought a box, took it home, and built me an instrument

I don't have any pictures of the build on this computer, maybe I'll put them up later.

Great build man, soundin gooood! Congrats dude, ain't these things a hoot?
Nice build Teddy. Cleaner build than my first one.
Nice, great sound & clean look.
That sounds great! Nice work!
Teddy, nice job! Like the look and the sound. I have the same box for my next build and you have helped me decide to put in the piezo, thanks dude.
My first build used this same box, but I'm getting a lot more neck and body noise with my piezo. I used a little pool of hot glue to mount it, and covered the back in hot glue as well. What mounting method did you use? Thanks,
Coooool build there...lean, MEAN sound when amped up! Post some more tunage for us! :-)
Congrats on the build. Nice playing xD
I just sticky taped the pizo in. I know the guides on the internet says to use one without electronics but I couldn't tell whether there were any in it anyway. So this is a pizo with a circuit board. I don't know if that affects anything as I don't know what it's for. I did take the element out though. (out of the casing that is)

I've actually built a second one! It isn't on the internet because it was for my brother and he's fussy about "his" things

Conqrats on your first build. Sounded good, now on to #2 and etc. and etc. and etc.
Sticky tape! I love it! So much for my over-engineering with researched glueing techniques. I have to keep remembering that CBG's are all about just winging it and letting the good things happen. :)

Thanks!

Same here on the sticky tape method. I bought one of those Ted Crocker piezos, moved it around on the inside of the box while playing the guitar until it sounded right, and taped it in. It works great, picks up every little sound. You can literally talk into my guitar and it hear it on the amp, and even the tap the box itself as a sort of drum.

Nice raw Delta Blues build, Teddy, built in the spirit of the music, fretless and all. Sounds great, dude.
