Only reason I asked is that "gaskets", often felt, have sometimes been used to get a uniform "seal" between the lip of the reso and the soundboard to pevent air from escaping. Not sure that logic would apply to pet dishes though. If I'm using sound holes, that wouldn't be an issue I guess. LOL

Just got a nice pet dish for my reso build. It has rubber around the edge. I'm wondering if anyone has tried leaving it on for a better "seal" ?

J Lee: Bass scales are usually longer than that. 28" and 30" for short scale Bass 32", 34" and 36" for the long scale Bass.
Baritone Guitar starts at 26" and goes to 28". You could use regular guitar strings for 26" scale, but use the bigger gauge strings for "bass" tones.

I'm in Australia, I've tried looking this particular brand and haven't found any reviews on the Hafco 110mm yet.I have asked the seller to send me more info regarding replacement blades, accessories and parts, so far he hasn't got back to me.

Stevie, where are you located at (US or other)? $200 seems high to me for a used Chinese saw that you'll probably struggle to find parts for should you need them, aside from blades.
