"This 1/8" jack fits into a preamp/eq that is mounted in the side of the instrument.  Your pickup is also wired to it to comprise a "pickup system."  Often, the enpin jack comes with the preamp/eq but sometimes they…"

Can Bare Piezo wire work under saddle?

Tried using one of those Chinese undersadde piezo pickups.  The metal box that fits in the bridge slot is a bit large.  In messing with it. the wire seperated from the metal peice. Don't want to cut bridge slot any deeper.  Will the bare wire work? should I coat it with anything?See More
