Hi Allen. I've made 15 of them so far. This vid is one of my favorite builds. Yours is a beauty! Pictures of most of my others are on my page. I've been on a banjo kick for a while but I'll get back to fiddles soon.

What size necks work best?  4/4?  3/4? 2/4?

4/4 unless you are building it for someone with the arm reach of a typical 10 year old. LOL

I have built one 2 stringed fiddle so far. I used plans from here on the site and it was pretty successful. I will post a picture soon. I sort of combined the traditional fiddle idea with the cbg idea and it turned out successful. I only used 2 strings as I am a novice player and thought it might be easier, and for me it is. Hope it helps. The plans section has the plans I used right in there.
