I need a single string magnetic pickup, nothing too fancy, just the basics. If anyone wants to get back to me with a price? thanks.

Check out C. B. Gitty's site. He's got pick ups and more!

I know, but, I got a rather small build goin on, and I need just a single string pickup...thanks though.

Robert,

You could always take a cheap standard 6-string mag pup, and run it "vertically" in a line along the string, a la Jack White's "It Might Get Loud" diddley bow...assuming you have enough room on your sound board.

Or look at the Harrison 3-pole pickups from the UK over to the right -->.

Or contact Ted Crocker (a CBN Member), and see if he has any single pole pups for sale or make.

Or get hold of 1/2 of a Fender P-bass pup set up, and run it vertically, that's only 2 poles...

hey oily, thanks, I would normally just run a regular six string vertically, but like I said the body on this thing is really small, it would even fit. and, anonymous pick... OH YEAH, THOSE :) .. thanks

;-) ...small enough?
Elmar shoots, he SCORES!
thanks for the suggestions everyone, those stonehenge ones might be a little thick, but i'll keep them in mind, also the synco looks pretty sweet and I'll keep that in mind too, but I think on this one I will have to go with the flat pickup.
Elmar, about your pickup... im putting it on a solid body, do you think ill need to do any routing, or is that totally flat?
