This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Taff: the switch type can be confusing to work with. The import types are pretty easy to deal with, but the American Switchcraft types can throw you off.

Thanks, Paul, I've got a selection of none USA switches I can try

Great job on the neck.

Thanks Paul. Getting closer to being done.

Finally got to a project that has been shuffled around on my bench for a couple of years. It's a 24" scale DAD strumstick with an ash top

Looks nice. My very first build was that shape with 6 strings paired in 3 sets of 2 and 28" scale. Had 1 pickup and 2 controls that pretty much stayed on 10. Poplar body and Red Oak neck. It was fun. Did it back in early 90's and lead me to where I'm at now.

Nice ! that top has some great grain patterns!! I remember using some Luan slats for the sides when I built my first strum stick? that stuff bends like butter, but doesn’t offer anything in the way of strength! Cheers! Lucky you :)

Nice builds guys. Madgomma, I like the slight curves in the body.
Paul is that a busted soundhole in your build.

Here's a Stick Dulcimer I built many years ago, rosewood and cedar.
Taff

Nice build Taffy.

The slots around the sound hole is where my volume, tone and jack were attached. When the knobs were on the pots(Black Speed Knobs), you couldn't see the slots and just see a hole in the middle.

As my first ever build, you can tell the frets are a bit wonky. Had a tall nut made of copper and a Strat bridge plate screwed into the semi-hollow body frame. I made this using a circular saw, jigsaw, hand drill, small hand saw for the fret slots, hammer and old flat head screwdriver used as a chisel.

Use what you have til you get the tools you need.Haha Color is rattlecan Caterpillar Yellow and Black stain on the fretboard with round stickers for fret markers.
