Thanks Brian Q, meanwhile on the other bench.......two banjos. One is a 5 string wood top and the other will be a Minstrel style 5 string banjo, with nylon strings.

I will use the pot from a Bacon banjo-mandolin, and give that old 1930's banjo new life.

Awesome!  Finally got around to finishing my muzzleloader kit and a wedding gift for my daughter.  Now I need to finish up the strumstick that has been on the bench for a year, and get on with building a 4 string cbg.

I thought weddings involved a shotgun? Hahaha

That's a nice looking Muzzleloader. I love taking mine out for some target shooting, hate cleaning them. ;)

 These will house an LM386-based amp on bottom and a clean boost in the top. Thanks everybody for the help!

I was going to post more, but did a test first before having to type it all twice!

I've been fixing my first guitar. It's a 60's Made in Japan hollow body electric. The old bridge had nylon saddles that were cracked and splitting and all the saddle adjustment pieces were loose creating a Sitar like effect. I replaced it with a old bridge I had in my parts bin from another old guitar, but it was in great shape. It pays to keep parts and what may appear to be junk to others.

I also have to remove all the switch plates, pickup mounting plates and pickup rings so I can fill in the holes with wood and then redrill the holes so all the screws will get tight again. They were staying loose and creating a fuzz type effect when playing. That's great sometimes except when you don't want it.
