This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?
I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.
A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Good to hear Tony, can't wait to see it.
That's awesome Richard, gotta play metal on that one.
My first build just came off my workbench!
It wasn't supposed to be this way, I'm "building" a 3 string cigar box, but I'm waiting on a piece of neat ash from a neighbor, but there's no hurry there, and spoke shaves and rasps etc.. from my father-in-law's wood shop. With the holidays there's no hurry.
But I have all the parts for my amp, I can build that, right? But I have nothing to plug into the amp when done. So I figured I needed a single string diddly bo. But... I'm an ex-cello player and so I figured I'd make a cello-bo.
It's only 2 strings since I broke the middle string tightening it, ordered some cheap sets off of amazon. IT will be tuned CGC. It has a rod-piezo pickup/saddle, door handle scrap metal nut, 3 eye bolt tuners and a brass grommet to pass the strings through the neck. (I couldn't put the eye bolts off to the side since I bought ones that were just a hair too short.) And that means I won't be able to play it on a table since the eye bolts stick out the back.

I had to tie a slip knot in the strings to have the grip the eyebolts, that doesn't seem right. Could use some help there.
Slipknot would be the correct knot to use for application like this. I love the idea / implementation overall. sounds fun.
What do you need help with?
Right now I only needed help with the strings slipping on the eye bolts, but if slip knot is correct, that's good enough for me. I watched crow's video's a million times and he does this thing with a tiny loop of string but I couldn't get that to hold.
Thanks for checking in!
Check out sailors knots. A hitch or half hitch should work if you can get a few turns of the string before the tension is too high. Also a stopper knot can keep it from pulling out.
The idea is the free end of the string is trapped under the first wrap or two to keep it from slipping, multiple ways to do that.
That's what I couldn't figure out, no matter what I tried, it slipped until I tied the knot in it.
Good use of Wait Time Award goes to Paul Cezanne. LOL
I tried the eye bolt tuners on a build, more trouble than it's worth in my opinion. Get a set of sealed tuners from Gitty for a good price.
I'm with you on that. I have one set of tuners waiting to go on my "real" CBG, and just wanted to throw something together. Cosmetically, I like how they look with the 2x4, but they're a bugger to tune, ok, I've actually not yet got it in tune, just close...
