indeed  .  dont  be  sorry at all  .  every  view   counts and adds  to  the knowledge   /  information  base.

case  in point  ,  Ben  thought  he  was doing  it  properly  .   in  "buying  "  the  merch  ,   (signs  )  thus   everyone getting  their   piece  of the  pie  .   we are  now  learning that  other stipulations are at  play too  .

lerarning =  good  ..

There is a lot of good advice in this thread. Eric, Pick, Kid and others nail it on the head. My view on it is that I'm gonna keep making instruments out of upcycled trash (packaging materials whose original use has been fully exhausted, like cigar boxes, oil cans, etc) and stay away from commercially licensed stuff. If I get a Cease and Desist over this, I'll fight it with every resource I have.
