I had no idea where to put this, but here goes. Gitty and Shane have stated that an instrument is a blank canvas. I had this idea from an event held in September in Vancouver, WA, called Keys to the…Continue

Guitar tapping on CBG

Does anyone here know about guitar tapping on CBG? I do a lot of slide blues, and think this could help my soloing. Any advice, lessons, and videos would be very helpful. Thanks.

"Yep, rewatched vid, capoed at the 3rd fret, so Cm. Relatively to do on a 4-string git capped the same way and tuned EADG (you get the walking bass and alternate thumb bass notes and the basic chord shapes, but lose some of the fingerpicked high…"

"Neat song.  Another alternative for you would be to use DGB tuning on a 3 string.  Chord shapes are the same as on a 6 string guitar, just using the 2nd 3rd and 4th strings.  I like it a lot for folk/strumming tunes like this one. As…"
