Flat pickup in the works.  Will trim the plexiglass after its done and glue to bottom of Altoids cover.  This is at 1002 turns...

Nice. Haven't used a mint tin for pup cover, but I have built a git w/ one of those yellow MC boxes. Just enough room for neck, since it's rather shallow inside, perhaps 3/4" to 7/8", so flat pup is perfect choice.

I've seen a lot of people put piezos in a mint tin. Gives it a little bit of a resonator guitar sound. I don't know that I've seen a magnetic pic kip in one, but I think it would work. It's definitely a cool look!

Thanks for the feedback.  I'll build this one as soon as I'm done with the Aroma De Cuba guitar.  Just trying to get the pup finished for it so I can go straight to work on the neck. 

This how I am thinking of doing the neck.  Layer two pieces of poplar and trim a little off both to slide into the box...
