Richard this is even better on the 2nd listen.   A strong heavy metal thing going.

That is wonderful Richard! Great guitar too. Somehow I missed seeing that Uncle John diddly. It sounds great. The double slide screen door latch moves are amazing! Thanks bud.

Thanks AGP! The trifecta of youth! I'm the youngest of the three of us, I don't feel a day over 64! This was my first attempt at playing a one string Diddley! This is not an easy instrument, very little flexibility. Your D D D cracked me up! I could, I may be overconfident, play a no string Diddley like nobody's business. I might talk to you about making me one! Let's keep it between us for now. The "Young Members" gang! A handsome craftsman builder, a handsome builder singer player traditionist, and a stubborn troublesome player punk!

"Sounds Great", a nice Combo of 3 of CBN's "Younger Members" Dave's Slide, Uncle Johns Diddley Bow and Richard Sundberg's playing, :-D :-D :-D

Thanks Gary! Very nice comments! Yeh, Dave's slides made me do it! These are great slides, right! I gave them a neanderthal beating, not a scratch . Nice finish inside also, not to smooth so it's easy to hold on. And their light! Each one has unique artwork and colors. I will do an acoustic number to really show these slides off, but I have learnin' to do first!

Thanks Erasmo! If I finished playing the string with my nose and teeth! I had no intention on playing like that. For a couple of hours I focused on nice and easy, sustain a note using the slide, then turn video recorder on, Mr. Jekyll! After many many takes, I just let it go, threw the baby and slide out with the bath water. Free and fun, your right! I did one thing Hendrix never did, I think, play with two slides. Hendrix got nothing on me Haha!

Thanks again Jim and AP! I'm picking up the three and four string CBGs pretty good. I'm an old six stringer and yeh, stubborn! But I love a challenge and these guitars are a blast! I realize I have to be patient and practice! The sound I want is the traditional slide CBG. Just like guitar, played for 30 years or so before I actually felt the music, played the music and not think about it. Jim, your right on the money! That slide feel. I've had moments in a few of my videos that I hit exactly the slide feel. You sliders out there, don't underestimate the artistry of that canvas your painting. Thanks guys!

I'm betting it won't take you long to get that slide feel!
