I always suspect the chord and try another chord to see if that's it. Sometimes it is the strings aren't grounded. Did you ground the strings? Then there's the volume pot needs cleaning. It will crackle if it's dirty. I only heard the crackle at the end. If the gain is up too high there will be a crackle also. Try less gain, more volume...

Check that the lead connector didn't get bent slightly in the build, you know the little spring clasp thing that catches the lead tip. Give it a little bend inwards

Thanks Dave,we just built it the other day,tried it on a clean sound but theres still a bit of crackle coming from somewhere any ideas?
