Wow.,thousands of great parts there.,.,Steve Wishnevsky in NC builds lots of guitars and basses from recycled piano wood.,.great stuff.,..,wish I had a place to store one.,.,.,great find.,.,!!

After closer inspection..the spruce soundboard hs major cracks in it. After talking to a local piano tuner he said when that happens best to repurpose the wood from it...and thats what my plans are.

wow, did a quick search and I saw $2000.00+ for an 1870's model. The wood would definitely be cool, considering hard to find old wood like that and I assume the keys are ivory and ebony, are they.  if you got the clients, it would be more fun making guitars and such.

I'd do some research on her first ,  even beat up those things can be worth hundreds$  , and even thousands$ .
