I saw something the other day that qued my interest.  If you capo a regular guitar at the fifth fret you basically have a uke.  So.... if I saw a fret board at the fifth fret and put the bridge the same distance it would be on a full size scale will it be a uke? Thanks See More

Acoustic videos?

There seems to be a lot more folks posting videos that are electric and not acoustic. What seems to be effecting this trend. Roots players were mostly acoustic weren't they?

license plate guitar

I went down to the local scrap yard for a license plate they said they never heard of such a thing and gave me a plate I brought it home put it on the box has been building took it back and played for them they were so excited they videoed it on their cell phone and send it to the boss.

I love the creativity and inginuity of the folks that call this place home.  The first cbg's  seem to have been made out of the only available materials.  I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a minimalist build challenge.  Rules and such outta be determined by greater minds than me. Just a thought from a rookie.
