So, I got into this with no experience at guitar but a lifetime of listening to music and I think this is great! I hope to learn a lot more, I now how to play fiddle and mandolin, so I do have some background, just not much in this area. I have a three string cbg, and am enjoying the freedom of the instrument.

Hello,
I believe I have just been bitten by this Cigar Box Guitar bug. It is a sound that I have loved for as long as I can remember. I beleive I first fell in love with the sound when I saw the movie Crossroads. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am looking into building my first cigar box guitar as soon as I feel I know what I am doing. Thanks to those who are hosting this fourm, it will help me a lot, hopefully one day I will have the knowlage to be able to help someone out like you guys are doing here.

I would like to see more GDG tunes also, Hank Williams (Sr.) would be great. Slide too.

Do any of you have any videos of playin' old time country music on cgb tuned GDG and strummed with maybe playin' the melody on the high G string? Something maybe by Hank Williams? I'd love to see somethin' like that if it's available. Thanks
