Hey Rick...I live in Annville, which is on the other side of lebanon county. I agree with olds , good to see another Pa. member here. Let me know when and where you are going to have your store, i`ll come and check it out. I build but rarely ever sell them [ want them all to myself...lol ] but i do make custom rod piezo bridges and bone slides. I have C.B.Gitty as my main seller of my slides right now but always lookin for another outlet for my works.

Hello Rick, (Part 2)
Learning a scale is only a means to an end. It will help train you ear to hear and find the correct notes on the fingerboard. No song moves up and down exactly like a scale, nor does it contain only the notes of a scale. When learning it is important to think of the song presented as an exercise. Don't concern yourself with like or dislike. Think about learning technique and working on mechanics. With experience it will all start to fall into place. If you work through the lessons, trying to get a decent handle on each lesson before proceeding, you will improve. Revisiting lessons at a higher level is also key to refining your skills. Enjoy.

There are many people who get confused with theory. I tried my best to keep my lessons simple and explain the approach clearly. In addition to teaching songs, I wanted to share how to figure out songs and create your own arrangements. I personally got frustrated with other available videos because they mainly only taught songs. I wanted to explore how songs work. I got bored with just learning songs. Furthermore, please understand learning from a video can be tricky for a beginner musician too. If you ask me specific questions, I will be glad to explain it. This not only will help you understand, but also help me as a teacher to learn how to communicate more efficiently. Thank you for your interest and question. Enjoy, Keni Lee
