TINITUS, An online collaboration for our group...

I was thinking of an online recording collaboration for our merry band of avant troubadours. I thought the name TINITUS might be appropriate, as this could get LOUD...any thoughts? We could…Continue

How about a DIDDLEY BOW power trio...

Just thinking...AGAIN. The power trio to end all power trios, perhaps? Probably not, though enough noise to shake things up a bit. I was thinking Ice Bob on the WHAMOLA, and Jarmo Katajisto and Denys…Continue

What is a good/cheap way to connect to garage band? The output from piezo seems to be weak for going direct.

"A Quadraphonic Octopus only has 8 legs, but has 4 ears for a dual-stereo quadraphonic existence." - QO

Sounds like it requires several more than 4 dimensions, perhaps. (In the head at least.)

How embarrassed are we, the Quadraphonic Octopus collective, when we realized that Britney Spears is a passe thought. Perhaps we should have described Line 'Em Up as our Jonas Brothers period. Lady Gaga?

A Quadraphonic Octopus only has 8 legs, but has 4 ears for a dual-stereo quadraphonic existence.

We have lamented in the utter void of plastic buckets within the cigar box guitar movement. Have the masses not seen the connection between cigar box guitars and more popular acts such as Stomp!, Blue Man Group, Recycled Percussion and Uakti? We have only seen microscopic examples of these collaborations (such as Jug Fusion's song "Slow Motion").

Chaos walks a dog named Frank. We are the leash.

Line Em Up is nice, Octofonik Britnopus. I swear I was just thinking the other morning about what street bucket drums would be like with CBGs. Around here the players usually play a go-go beat. Nice as well. Does a quadrophonic octopus have 8 or 8 x 4 legs?

Quadraphonic Octopus has just added a new song to our online repertoire : "Line Em Up". It is a improvisational tribal dance as performed with the Ghetto Bukkets plastic bucket drumline.

Cigar box guitar used: 4-string Reddog with three strings tuned the same and the fourth tuned to a fifth.

This is probably the most accessible of any QuadOcto song and we consider it our Britney Spears period of development.

Quadraphonic Octopus has spoken. Quadraphonic Octopus has added samples from our latest excursion, Chaos Walks a Dog Named Frank. Shall we put the needle to the wax?

You may listen on the Quadraphonic Octopus music player within our profile.

Quadraphonic Octopus shall have a voice on the Nation. Look for sound bites in our profile soon.

The cigar box guitar is an instrument of pure heritage and primitive grace. Quadraphonic Octopus understands this history and pedigree
...and politely disregards it all.

Great group Henry, now I can combine my noise and CBG without feeling like the odd man out. I've been working on a CBG just for this purpose with sympathetic sings and theramin like circuit for crazy tones. Will post samples once the kinks are worked out.
