Thanks Der .... my next trip is to Wisconsin ....I will see which repair shops can find over there .... I check the website of Guitar Center, but it seems they do not sell Fretwire ... uhmmm...

Gustavo, You can get fretwire at any luthier or guitar repair shop.

sorry to be so slow in answering... I am not a fan of using anything but fretwire for frets.  I have used flat toothpics on children's builds, but I have no experience with coat hangers or other wire, so I have no advice.

Hi everybody , thanks for the commets on the piezo problem . i have another question , on resonator cbg's that use a can , do you just cut a hole in the box and leave it loose with the bridge on top of it and where would you put the piezo ?

Put something on top of the piezo. Glop some hot glue on it and slap felt or wood over it. A lot of people will actually make a "sandwich" by putting the piezo between two pieces of wood and glue the whole thing under the bridge.

The piezo actualy is a speeker & we use it in reverse. It will pick up sound. The best way I know to stop the feedback is to stay behind the speaker when using it.

HI , i just recently finished my first build , i put a piezo on the inside of the lid under my bridge , is there any way to keep it from squealing when you turn the amp up ?
