looking for a red Tatuaje box to make a match for this one. found one on ebay but to much. Anyone out there have one they could sell me or trade for I have a bunch of Tabak especial coffee infused boxes as well as Casa Magna . Help a fellow builder out

Hey Murray, I agree with Mark on the neck width. I measured up the string width at the nut on a conventional guitar and approximated that on mine. I left about 3mm at the sides but Kenny Lee advocates a wider string separation and having the strings end closer to the neck. This would give you more room to manoeuvre your slide and it sounds like good advice to me. Tune your guitar to Open G and experience the glory of open tunings. I have even been playing my standard 6 stringers with open tuning (the rare times I now play them).

I told him just plane it flat, whatever thickness I get back will do (for something), and to just rip it as close to half the width as he can.

So, if it's a bit wide, I can cut more....I also thought maybe that leaves me the option of tapering the neck width...although I can't think of a way other than bandsaw & sand or plane it afterward, then sand a comfortable radius later....tbd
