Hey guys, this is for those of you that are tired of diy projects with the lm386. Its a link to several schematics using various ic op-amps for amps with outputs ranging from 4w to 35w. There aren't any pcb layouts, though.

I must have been behind the door when this one was given out, but...

Can I use my computer headset microphone the a guitar or PA amp? Do I need something besides a 1/8 to 1/4 adaptor? I got that and get nothing....

I've been looking at options for building a small amp and I've just realised that I have a pair of PC speakers sat in a cupboard. I imagine I should be able to strip these down and use them. There is a power supply but I'd want to introduce a battery option. I presume this is possible? Has anyone else done this?

Yes it is possible.... but you need two piezo's wired in series, the run thru a "normal" tone/volume setup...., but why would you want to? I've done it just to say I've done it and you get a little tone shaping, but at that point you get so much more out of a wound pup, that that is the way to go... IMHO

That amp is awesome rooster. I would not have picked out chrome on orange, but that just shows you what I know, because it looks great. Good job man.
