Are you ready for a Football Soild body CBG?

Here we go. I took a football shaped candy box & made a CBG out of it. (I hope the pics I'm posting here don't come up every where else.) 1. I stripped the box of everything but the outside skin which I filled with 3/4" counter top material sanwiched between 1/4" plywood in the lid & bottom. Wilkommen to the balalaika strum site. To answer your question, yes, they ARE primarily 3 string. The prima and alto versions are tuned E-E-A. Oh, and one other SMALL detail. You use your thumb to fret a lot of the chords! Hope that helps!

hi bob steve(lobooldut ive got the measurements for u of that box that i got wolf) here again not tryin to be a pain in the butt, but the demensions are 2 .25 inside 2.75 outside it is 11 annd 3/16 by 15 and 3/16 is this big enough  that is to say is my box deep enough @ 2 3/4 ?if so i would definatly be interested in getting one ov your kits cause this box realy looks killer and since it is one that my mom used for years i kinda want to do something special w it while she can see and enjoy it. thanks again no rush on getting back to me i cant do anything untilll after the 1st of the month anyway (disabled vet) u know how that goes so ill be waiting and lookin forward to your next email your frnd.  lobo (oldwolf)
