Micro Uke Demo
This is my latest build.
It's a 16" micro ukulele. It's a tricky to play because it's so small but it still sounds pretty darn good.

I've also used 10 penny nails. As long as you have the string spacing in the bridge drilled properly you don't really need slots in the saddle.

Good to know. I like the bolt saddles and nuts. I was just afraid of cutting the nylon strings. In fact, I have a uke build that just does not suit me and I may try a bolt saddle.

I've build a bunch of ukes with bone, micarta and metal sadles, It's never made a significant difference in sound and I've never broke a nylon string.

It is cute. Metal saddle- with nylon strings. I wondered if that would work.... Must be okay. Sure sounds good.
