Old timey song - done by Mississippi John Hurt and possibly written by him. Done here by a hack on a CBG.

Good crooning, Unc. Nice old time sound from the git and harp.

Erasmo, I an hear that similarity.  It reminds me of  'Take Me Back'.   Thanks, sir.

Thanks, Clarky.  I like your good playing and you teach me about good, but new to me music.

Thanks, Nancy.  I'll whistle for you anytime.   That hat looks a bit uncomfortable.

Thanks, MD.  I will tell  my mom she is whistler's mother.

Thanks. Dave.  You and I share appreciation for old timey, jug band and old country blues.

Good stuff, it always sounds like you've just unearthed some vintage vinyl Uncle John.

Thanks, Dennis.  That old White Owl box is fiber, not wood.  It looks like junk but sure plays and sounds nice.

Thank you, Wes.   We had some good beans and rice last week.  Hop you are doing well and catching some fish.

Like  the simplicity, great harmonica, good singing, great sounding guitar.

Thanks, Rich!  I have to admit I practiced that melody picking and might add the song to my list.  I have liked it for years but did not try it until recently.  I have another verse to add (borrowed from a Dylan song)-- Little red wagon, little red bike.  I ain't no monkey but I know what I like.

Big sound Uncle! Nice and clean, even the tweets! My favorite songs are one chord songs, can’t hardly find them though, so I write em myself. That is your best harp and picking, perfect! That is a killer combo when nailed.......you nailed!
