Uncle John Bolton was kind enuff to send me some words and this was my take on the tune.Peace,all.I was looking for work when the sun went down.
And didn't know my baby left town.
(Tag) That Greyhound bus took my baby away.
That old dog bus, stole my baby away.

I got to find her. I know I must.
Find a way to follow that bus. (Tag)

Ashes to ashes and lust to lust
I thought I had woman that I could trust. (Tag)

I'll find out where that dog has gone.
And find my baby before too long. (Tag)

Instrumental and repeat verse one.

That's right,!!  Have a dang memory like a colander....Guess I'm embracing my senility a tad bit earlier than some.

Yeah man, that's a good one. Yup, still flautin' Remember I laid some flute licks down on your "Last Train to Amity"

I love that song ...played it a few times live. The one I love and would love to cover is running Like The Wind .Are you still a flautist?

Well it worked for Toy Caldwell and it's working for you. Funny, my first instrument was flute which I played in concert band. Thanks to Marshall Tucker's "Can't You See" and Jethro Tull music flute went from band nerd status to pretty cool instrument!

I have a local friend who is an Amazzzzzzzzing Clawhammerist. My right hand has a finger broken crooked and the rest isn't doing well from 35 years of repetitive motion. I have tried it  abit but, couldnt quite pluck it off.So I'm stuck with the "Thundering Thumb" approach . (FYI, Toy Caldwell was Marshall Tuckers guitarist known as the Thundering Thumb...)

It sounds to me like the Appalachian banjo bug done bit ya! Your playing style is all your own right now but the next stage of that bug bite is a disabling attack of clawhammer-itis.

Thanks so much ,boss...Don't know what kinda Applachian mojo you put in here, but this banjer , but it cranks out about a riff a day. That and I haven't picked up another instrument since I got it.The rest of the boys are so jealous..Really become a favorite..
