It might be a disadvantage not being able to sing and play at the same time- everything would have to be solo instrumental. Funny, cos I have no trouble simultaneously speaking and doing other stuff when on stage...

yes, there's more control in the studio. I'd highly recommend busking. I think it's an advantage having these home made instruments as it's a bit different. I've met so many lovely people while busking : -)

I think my problem is that I came to the looper AFTER my BR800, which is much more forgiving of millisecond errors in timing. And I'm more of a studio type- not busked with an instrument (yet!). Thanks for the tip, and I'll keep an eye out for you in future...

Thanks Wal, and keep trying with the looper. It's kind of like learning to drive, at first there seems too much to do all at once, but after a while you just do it without thinking. I think the key is doing a very simple first loop...

thanks Brian. I love my cup holder...I have back problems and so anything that stops me having to keep bending down while I'm busking is great!
