Army helmet guitar

Trench folk art thanks

Mine is a junk pine diddley bow made from a 2x2 that began life as a trellis for some tomatoes in our back yard, sat leaning up against the back fence for several years and ended up mated with a Maxwell House coffee can.  It's strung with a piece of .041" stainless steel aircraft safety wire and tuned in the key of R.  Good sounding acoustic annoyer.  I plan to build a single string 5 gallon jeep can electric bass sometime this summer to go with it.

welll...  it's  kinda   "cute  "   ..    ;-)

According to Mississippi John Hurt Maxwell House is 2 or 3 time better then that other coffee.

Yeah RTZ  I'm liking this and having fun seeing all these "ugly" builds. In the immortal words of Dorothy Parker and Redd Fox "beauty's only skin deep but ugly's to the bone"

Though it might catch on

Ok, there is a cardboard kitty litter carton sitting in the trash....

I finished this one yesterday... I think its really fugly,it plays and sounds good though...it used to be a bit of 2x2 white pine from off of someones tree or something I found somewhere.

simple basic sound is everything

Yep sure is... it was meant to be a Banjo neck but it turned into that...I painted it Blue... Yeah? -Na-it- it looked really bad so then I painted it black...["paint it in a corner and its color comes back" ha ha] .It dose go good though and the kids named it "Ugly".Great competition, thanks for your reply [as I am a new member of CBN] I appreciate it,cheers.

its an ugly  contest  ,, paint  it  blue again  ;-)

lol.  ;-)
