I'm sure there are a bunch of you folks that have a musical foundation in your occupation, but for the rest of us who do this purely as a hobby I'm curious what it is you do to pay for your CBG addiction.

Only fair that I start, I'm a director for a dental laboratory in Tarrytown, NY.  I'm fortunate enough to work for a pair of owners that both play and collect guitars and allow me to use the very handy tools we have here for things other than teeth from time to time.

Electrical engineering pays the bills for us. Always enjoyed "making stuff" so this hobby just makes sense, I guess. I've been involved in music since 5th grade (many winters ago) when I first picked up a trombone.

Software/Web developer at a large manufacturing corporation. Mostly I do apps for operations and logistics scheduling and planning.

Along with my wife and son we have an arts and crafts and antique business that we're getting off the ground.

I'm a geologist doing regional geological mapping of unconventional resource plays (yes, fracking) for the national oil company of a foreign government in the eastern province of a desert kingdom. I mostly play, but occasionally build, when I'm not umpiring baseball games, conducting biological experiments with barley, honey, and grape and other juices, designing and building theatrical sets, acting, songwriting, playing guitar and singing bass for a weekly religious service, and being a general PITA.

Turn-ons are guitars, sunsets, endless jams, properly barbecued ribs and brisket, and margaritas. Turn-offs are rude people, bureaucracy, airport security and jet lag. My name is Oily, and I have approved this message.

Wow. How do you find the time ?

You have to create your own fun here. It has given me numerous skills to practice when I retire in 5 years or so. Besides, I don't play golf well, and my wife keeps having "decorating ideas."
She's let me hang them in my man cave. Anywhere else "doesn't look right."

Get her to decorate a couple of boxes

I manage an IT Security team for a subsidiary of a fortune-500...

In my spare time, I make things, the last 3-4 years have been CBGs...

Good for you Bill!

Professional cigar box guitarist.

Aw hell no! Professional and cigar box guitarist just don't go together in the same sentence! Love your playing Shane and you are one of a a very elite group!

Yup Wayfinder I've met Shane a couple of times in  York and he seems just crazy enough!
