I'm new at this social-networking thing, but i was surprised to go to that cigarbox.com web-site and find my name in the headlines for one of their articles.

umm--mmmm-mmm ???  how does that work ???

does that mean 'allowing anyone' to see what i write means that i have given them the right to copy and reprint my ( or anyone' s) comments. ????

seems  odd, if not downright illegal...

certainly, morally reprehensible, and lazy  .....

just so that they can avoid writing their own articles and claim they have a website ????

is this SOP for social net-works ???

did i miss something ????...  zandi z.

Not there Zandi. Like Mike and John say, this is a site for a store in Las Vegas, NV. I'm not seeing any feeds.

Anyone wanna give me a good link?

FORGET THAT. found it. http://cigarboxguitars.com/ This is Scotty. He's from my neck of the woods. He's legit. In fact, he has been doing his site for a while. His was the first one I came to when I found CBGs. Which was, after I hear John (above) play his on ebay/youtube.

Thanks, John... we are doing well, and are 'safe '... that is, we are content and enjoying our existence in spite of the wanks , local or otherwise... thoroughly enjoying your and my CBGs occupies most of the time when we are not working at the 'have-to' stuff.
so far, no oil slicks up here at 5000 feet.....yet.

thank you, all of you, who shed light on this subject for me...i appreciate the time you have taken to do it.
sorry about the address confusion.

If Wes says "Scotty" is legit, then i am inclined to believe him.
btw, Wes, John's video was my Pied Piper,too...thanks again, all...zandi z.

cigarbox.com is a cigar shop website?
Yeah, Scotty's site has been around for a long time. My involment in the cbg world I attribute to this site, it was the first one I found 4 years ago. He brings everything together into one site

thats the most impostant cigar box webiste...Its a lengend! the orginal!
Thanks... when Wes vouched for him as legit, any qualms i had about what might be going on disappeared... from what i have read of his (Wes's) posts i felt i could take him at his word.
And now you vouch for Scotty and his site, too, so now i am even more rock solid okay about it.
I did go through my 'favorites' list when Wes said ,'Scotty' --- it rang a bell. Turns out it was one of the first sites i went to, also....Scotty 're-decorated' so i did not recognise it as rhe same page.
i bow to your greater wisdom.... thank you...zandi z.
Here's is the link .. Cigarboxguitars.com
I kept getting Freyboys cigar shop also until I saw Scotty's name.

Yall wuz aleavin' the "geetarz" out of the link.

Yeah, site good, Scotty's cool, probably the first site alot of us saw.
