Nights at the Riverboat - an original

Trying hard to get coordinated with the looper, remembering words and switching instruments. Still not too smooth. The Riverboat is the place I played my one...

Ha! That was a good song. My first set had stuff like Under the Boardwalk, Drift Away, Dock of the Bay, and Margaritaville. I did Angel From Montgomery on CB guitar, CB Fiddle and looper and that went over pretty well!

Ha, Jim.  Your comment made me think of Ricky Nelson's song, Garden Party.   I expect you were good for doing some of those oldies.

Thanks much Unc. I gotta spend a bit more time with the looper to feel good about it but it's getting there. The old Riverboat had a funky charm. The Tiki deck had deck boards with inch wide gaps so the water would splash up through them when the waves were up and credit cards and guitar picks would fall through if you dropped them. The new one is nice but lacks that feeling. The CB instruments were pretty well received even though folks wanted the same songs I used to do way back when. Trying to recapture a lost feeling I think.

Man, I could just about see it all and feel the summer heat and the sway and flow of the boat..

Ohh, fine solo too.

Oh shite.   I was afraid using the looper would mess up the flow of a great song and performance.   No way.   Man, the looper and adding fiddle-- smooth-   blows me away.   Just about the best.   Wonderful.

Thanks Sammy. It was a fun weekend even though I was struggling to recall words to songs I haven't done in a dozen years! My wife said it's just like riding a bicycle but it was more like falling off of one.
