You can get a fender type hardtail bridge in gold and bend a new base from brass.  I did this for my 3 string tele (except used chrome).  Bend, drill and buff.

The other option is to cut a 6 string bridge down.

I purchased most off of Ebay from a seller in Canada who ships to the US.  Cheap and shipping was reasonable.  Takes about 10 days to arrive.

Thanks Don. I had toyed with cutting a 6 stringer in half, but I don't know that I have the proper tool to do that. I have a band saw, but I don't think I have a metal cutting blade for it. Just cut it in half and round off the corners?

A basic "hack" saw and file would do the work with a bit of effort.  I used a metal cutting blade on a saber saw.  Just take the bridge apart first.  Clamp or place the base in a vice and cut.

Here's an option I just thought of since we were talking about these the other night.

Get a bass trapeze type bridge that has nuts holding the bar on .... remove the bar and replace it with a wooden or metal that fits.
