You should be able to make one with no problem RTZ! Marcy Paulson, who's a new member here, posted a wonderful vid last week of one she made. It was her first build and turned out great. Of course she's a pretty good fiddle player so she had an idea already about neck angle and such. She saw one of mine on youtube and wanted to purchase it but I kind of tipped her and her husband towards making one and now I think they're hooked! Good luck man!

Thanks Boxy! I knew nothing about fiddles either till moving to West Virginia some time ago. I got immersed in this old time music and gradually moved from guitar to banjo to fiddle. Now I can't decide what I want to do!

Wonderful. I don't know much (or anything) about fiddles, but I really enjoyed this. To my untrained ears it sounded amazing!
