Here it is, the second one. Sounds pretty good, a bit different from the first one but I expected that as the box is very different in size and wood. Click on my page for more pictures of this one.

A classic CBG...How's she sound?
What did you use to cut the front with? Jig saw
I used a coping saw and some files to cut the headstock. Also cut the f holes with the coping saw. It works well, is cheap and doesn't take very long.
Mark, it sound decent.

NIIIICE! The f-holes came out great. This one kind of reminds meof an early Shane Speal build, minus the burn on frets and general wear and tear. Great job!
Thanks Henry, the frets are burned in on both my necks with a wood burning tool I was given years ago, finally found a use.

Very nice.
Nice work Michael. I would like to see a closer detail of the tailpiece and what the original rain gutter bracket looked like. Regards John D
I forgot to take a picture of the bracket before I cut it up and at this point it was the only one I found in dads barn, he saves everything. Look at the pics on my page both guitars use a piece of the same gutter bracket but turned a different way and bent to fit. Since it was my only one I need to find a new idea for the tailpieces.
