Thanks i will give them a go

Check your local music store, they usually sell replacement tuners. Or find a broken/worn out used guitar and scavenge them from it. I get mine from CBGitty.com, the selection is good and the deliveries are prompt. www.dx.com has similar tuners available with great deal on shipping but you get what you pay for: delivery takes forever.

I use the same as slow paw steve

I get them from ebay as well and they seam quite good quality for both steel and nylon strings

The ones that CBGitty has are hard to beat, adaptable and not expensive. Added bonus, he runs CBNation! Great guy too. Just click the link above.

Oh I see you are in the UK. I don't know what the shipping would be.

Delivery might add too much tio the cost, but I will have  a look.

Thanks David

You need to keep below £15 to avoid input duty but suntekstore uk is good http://www.suntekstore.co.uk/search.php?encode=YToxODp7czoxMToib3Jk...
Delivery can be a bit slow (up to 6 weeks) and sometimes you can find a voucher code if you google to knock off a couple of pound more.
Also if you do an eBay search for machine heads you can get some bargain basement prices. For example

Classical £2.02 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2pcs-Classical-Guitar-Tuner-Tuning-Keys-P...
2.48 for 6 single classical http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classical-Guitar-Tuning-Pegs-Single-Machi...

£2.99 for semi closed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classical-Guitar-Tuning-Pegs-Single-Machi...

£3.84 for closed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-Pro-Chrome-Guitar-String-Tuning-Pegs-Ke...
They may or may not come with the small machine head screws so If you plan to build a few CBGs these give a good bulk purchase price

David
