I used brass screws at the fret markers on the Amish Harp build.. The bocote fretboard has the dulcimer fretting, i also made another fretboard with regular guitar fretting so i can switch that one on to. Scale length-25".

Randy, did you use wood screws right into the neck?  IMHO, that could weaken the hold as you change out fretboards over time.  A more permanent solution could be to use threaded inserts into the neck allowing you to use flat-head machine screws (maybe 8-32's?) to hold the fingerboards down.

You could then have chromatic, diatonic, "blucimer", pentonic, or whatever you wanted as spare fretboards.

(BTW - love the bocote grain!)

Great idea and I love Randy's method of having interchangeable fretboards.
