well, i tried to build one, the build was crap.  but it will knock out a tune . So got this gorgeous beast fromben kimbler.  so all that is left is for me to learn to play it... lol..  ps still…Continue

hi guys, question... what is the most usefull when building a cbg, a band saw . or a scroll saw. any help would be grateful.

You're right. Then again, I AM wearing a dress (at least in my Profile pic).;-)

But seriously, that's just my way of being cheeky. No offense meant. Even more seriously, has anyone actually answered your plea for help? Normally, you'd have at least a coupla takers by now. If posting properly to the Group as you did doesn't work, try adding your question, with diagram, as a Discussion. That way it will pop up on the Main page, at least for awhile. Most people tend to look there, unless they are following a specific Group. You did right, but there's so much going on on the site that things like your request can get lost in the chatter. Lemme know if no one responds in the next 24 hours, and I'll see who we can roust.

Hi Phil, sorry you had to leave. I hope you make progress with the cigar box I sold you. Do ask if you need any tips, I've built quite a few from those boxes. 

I just finished cigar box guitar number 19 this morning, and I got an order for a diddley bow last night for a kids Christmas present, so plenty more to do.....

Hey Phil, thanks for the kind words. This build is slated for someone, i've got more on the way. Currently the price for this particular model is $850 U.S. + shipping.  You know I'll have to bump that up in the near future, but I would be very happy to build you one, they really are fun to play, and loud......they crank!!!!
