New build.

I only recently started building guitars. I was inspired by the CBG ideals and decided to take a plunge. I started building a few Diddley Bo's then I spent way to much money at Stewmac and set up a tiny workshop in 3/4 of a garage and started building 6 string guitars (I'm not much of a slide player). I build guitars for the blues and rock 'n' roll...

as regards your question about six string pickups i have only made three six string pickups to date 2 x Telecaster Bridge & 1 x Telecaster Neck - all are owend by BluesBeaten Redshaw and his Dad

i dare say i could make other styles if i have a actual pickup to get the measurments from

Welcome aboard, RS! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBU, CBB, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).

Up in the Free Resources menu at the top, you will see a number of plans for building and playing cigar box guitars/ukuleles/banjos/dulcimers/violins. I encourage you to download any of the plans, take a look at them, and ask questions from there. Also our site is VERY searchable. I bet you your questions have already been asked, so take a few moments and look around.

Join our Chat sometime (see the bar at the bottom of your browser page). Keep in mind that tho the chat window says there are X number of people online, not all may have the chat window up.
