Box bracing

Hi all,does anybody have any suggestions for bracing a cigar box? I have a box that keeps warping a bit I am hoping placing some sort of reinforcements in the box will prevent this.Thanks in advance !Continue

Does anybody have a suggestion on what specific brand cigar box is best for building a 3 string ? I'm starting to plan my 2nd build so aninfo would be appreciated !
String spacing

Anybody have any suggestions or measurements for string spacing on a 4 string cbg using 1x2 neck ? I would like the strings to be spaced far apart for ease of playing. Any help would be great

With a paint can lid reso, you can still build it as a neck thru.... so, neck attachment is easy. If you build a true reso, you have to do a set neck or some form of bolt on.... pretty advanced.
As far as a paint lid reso, then only thing you might want to think about it using a slightly thicker board for the neck, because you have to relief it slightly more under the neck. You'll need some kind of tail piece that gives you a straight shot for the strings to break over the bridge. The bridge probably needs to be hand crafted in such a way that it's tall enough to offset the slight "dip" in the paint can lid and allows the placedment of the piezo within if. When you get there, email and I'll give you some tips....
