Welcome to Old Lowes

Howdy I'm Old Lowe come on in and look around.

Howdy

Here's some pics and videos of my hand spun brass resonator cones.
They are 6 inches across and need to have a 7 inch wide box minimum to fit in. We hand spin them on a lathe out of bras sheets right her in Texas.
They are a little sturdier than a normal cone so there is no need for a sound well or a cover plate.
If you do add a cover plate it would be for looks only but that's fine too!
Installation is pretty simple just cut a pretty good 6 inch hole in your box and lay the cone inside and fasten it with some bolts and nuts. You need to be kind of careful if you are making a fretted instrument to get the center of the cone exactly where the bridge needs to befor intonation unfretted instruments just go crazy do it however ya want Ha!

I sell these cones for 25 dollars and I take pay pal

If you are interested in one or two of these just add me as a friend on here and send me a message and I can tell ya everything you need to know!

Hey Lowe how deep are those cones, I have a punch cbg I thinks I could convert because the neck is a bolt on with the wood running along the bottom of the box for the neck to bolt to.
