My first 2 stringer, but definitely not my last. People walk up and want to know more about it. It's my constant concert companion! Many more to come this summer...

Kevin,  also, the electric strings will work, but in the future, I think acoustic string work better in a cbg.

Hi Kevin.  I would second what Mr. Random said.  If you are unclear on how to play, look at knotlenny's cbg 101 in the how to play section - top of the page.  Everything he shows for a 3 stringer will work for a 2.  DA is good, but there are many other options if you put on different strings.  I like the to use the A and D string from a 6 string set and tune G D.

Kevin - I would tune DA which is what I usually use on my 2 stringer

Hi All, I have strung my 2 stringer with  E & A strings from an electric guitar, could anyone please advise me as to the best string combination, and to what notes they should be tuned to. I have heard that some players have a particular string, but tune it to a different pitch. Any thoughts would be be most appreciated.
