why do you have to invite a person to be your friend before you can pm them?
never had this before on any forums.

even on its best day , with the best system setup , sometimes the ning mail does no go through . like one out of 10 may not work . best to resend , or ask if they got it , if you get no reply .
also ,, you can't " reply " in your personal email address "notice" . it will just bounce back . you have to go into your ning mail page .
some folks reply like that and thing they answered .. even by mistake .

My Imac is old and outdated so it may be on my end. I do know that I can send a message with a friend request. I may try unfriending then sending a new friends request and message. Got to be a way to work around this.
