"Nice looking collection, I just finished 2 with the padron boxes, they are among my faves. I have made a few chuggers and am always shocked at how loud they are. Try tuning the strings to the same key on octave apart. They get really loud."

Thanks for the feedback on my latest build. You posted before I completed the details, so I could not get back to your comments via the email links. The yellow parts do seem to contrast nicely with the darker wood color. The winding sound holes are intended to be the outline of my version of a violin bass body. Trying something different visually.

Oklahoma 1936 License Plate #134-651      By John Bolton

I was made in late 1935 in the Oklahoma State Prison at Mc Alester. I was black with yellow letters. I was issued in Goodland County in 1936 and bolted on the rear of a gray and black 31' Ford coupe with a rumble seat. I couldn't see where we were going, but when the dust wasn't too bad, I could see where we'd been.
