Measuring
I have a question about measuring. I usually measure from the middle of the nut, which I assume is how its done. When I go to measure the bridge part where do you measure to.
Do you measure to where the bridge starts, or the middle of the bridge, or the back of the bridge?
Right now I'm only building 25".
I just don't know how to measure correctly.

Fron rear of nut not center of nut To the center of bridge by the diagram off the Gitty scale chart .

The measurement is from where the string last touches the nut or bridge, it is the measure of the free string space

Also remember to measure from the centre of the fret [12th], that should be the highest point [the crown].
