What about a cigarbox Nyatiti?
I recently saw a video of a nyatiti.It is an african instrument that has a beautiful harp-like sound.It's made from a gourd,but I thought why not a cigar box nyatiti? Granted the fullness of a gourd compared to a cigar box would be somewhat different.But a nice LasCabrillas might be interesting nonetheless...heres the video of the instrument..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC71Ne5MwB0

yup .. i have seen similar top mounted cb harp style builds on here , (not named nyatitis tho. tis refreshing to see somethin out of the norm , i say build one ! (after your fest dust dies down maybe ) , i know you are busy with that these days . and i wish ya luck again on it . ;-)
